The Principal will –

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Develops go-to-market strategy and ensures effective execution.
  • Effectively grows their practice and consistently achieves growth targets. (Actively involved in Identification of opportunities, leading BD efforts , creating presentations, proposals, SOWs)
  • Leads delivery, accountable for overall quality and client satisfaction within their practice.
  • Collaborates with other MHC Leaders to create cohesive marketing collateral and messaging.
  • Develops IP, templates, frameworks, tools and is responsible for the build and maintenance of a knowledge portal.
  • Cares about each team member of the MHC Community, leading their team with a focus on professional and personal development. (coaches/mentors, conducts performance reviews, etc.)
  • Establishment of “Trusted Advisor” status for clients we serve.
  • Practice maturity, best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Embraces an “owner mindset” and effectively manages all operational aspects associated with running a business

Requirements for this position:

  • This role requires a leader who has previously designed and executed a profitable Life Sciences Practice or suite of services on behalf of a Management Consulting or Specialty/Boutique Life Sciences Consulting Firm.
  • An extensive network of connections in life sciences marketplace (ideally in the PA, NJ, DE area)
  • 10 + years’ experience in Management or Life Sciences Consulting.
  • 5+ years working for a Global, National or Big 4 Consultancy.
  • 5+ years of experience leading engagements and successful services for pharmaceutical and/or biotech clients.
  • 5+ years generating revenue with a history of meeting or exceeding business development goals.
  • Broad expertise in the areas of: E2E Biotech commercial operations, pharmaceutical regulatory & lifecycle, early product development, brand strategies, target product profile, market assess, portfolio management, launch planning & execution, and expertise in a variety of therapeutic categories: Oncology, Rare Disease, Vaccines, as well as experienced working with personalized medicine.
  • Deep experience in: Strategy, Operational Excellence, Change Management, Process Improvement, conducting assessments, facilitating workshop and providing advisory services.
  • Well versed using relevant tools: MS Office, MS Project, Visio and excellent PPT skills
  • Engaging and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to influence change at all levels within a client organization.
  • Strong facilitation skills and proven track record in identifying appropriate constituents to drive decision making and action.
  • Willingness and commitment to share knowledge, best practices, and learnings throughout our firm internally and a desire to flexibly play multiple roles within our growing team.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or the relevant certifications and practical experience to credibly advise and execute transformational engagements and be readily perceived as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
  • Preferred experiences include thriving and delivering quality results under pressure and deadlines, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for launch products, managing/mitigating risk and leading continuous improvement activities in an entrepreneurial environment.

The Practice Director will –

  • Play a leading role supporting our LEx Principal in building a Launch Practice that re-defines how companies best launch products.
  • Plan and manage branded product launches for the commercial organizations within pharma/life sciences, and be a trusted advisor to the clients we serve.
  • Engage, lead, develop, and grow a team of LEx consultants; be a leader people want to follow.
  • Be an expert with a deep understanding of the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry market trends and be accountable for building service and solution offerings easily adopted by the market.
  • Support direct and indirect revenue growth for the firm – consistently meeting or exceeding business development targets, participating in sales pursuits, and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Represent and build the Magic Hat Consulting brand through active engagement in the external marketplace, memberships and organizations as a respected Product Launch Excellence Leader and Subject Matter Expert.
  • Perform post-launch evaluations to develop LEx best practices and continually improve the practice.
  • Lead the engagement delivery, or when needed independently deliver excellent work products, presentations, and services.

Requirements for this position:

  • This role requires a leader with significant Management Consulting experience who has previously led multiple pharmaceutical product launches. Global product launch experience and work across multiple therapeutic areas is strongly preferred.
  • 5 + years’ experience working in a Big 4 Management Consulting firm.
  • 10+ years working in/supporting the pharmaceutical industry (commercial operations).
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product launch/launch excellence.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist implements creative research strategies and tactics to identify and evaluate talent that will support Magic Hat Consulting’s growth strategies. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to fully understand hiring needs and generate candidate pipelines to fill our open positions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to manage the full cycle recruitment process and strategically source candidates
  • Lead candidate headhunting utilizing various innovative and traditional sourcing tools to identify top and diverse talent from Big 4 Management Consulting firms.
  • Take ownership of developing job postings, descriptions, and position requirements via LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Research and share key market intelligence and talent insights
  • Develop talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Continuously promote Magic Hat’s brand via LinkedIn recruiter and other platforms
